One of my main interests (the one I in fact make a living with) is computer
programming. I'm adept at programming in Java, C, C++, and C#. While in
university, I authored a small Java applet which became very popular, and
is still widely used today.

TextScroll is a simple but powerful applet for scrolling text vertically.
It is not the only applet out there that does this. However, there are a
few things that make it unique.
- FREE - TextScroll costs
no money for either personal or commercial use. I haven't made a dime off of
TextScroll, and never will.
- OPEN - TextScroll comes
with source code, and a liberal license which encourages modification and
distribution.
- SIMPLE - TextScroll is
very easy to add to your web pages, requiring as little as 2 HTML tags (an
<APPLET> tag and a <PARAM> tag to specify the
data source). It is completely documented and extensively tested.
Because of these reasons, TextScroll has grown to be quite popular.
